Snow Days

I know its been awhile since I've posted. I have just gotten caught up in all this snow! It doesn't snow too much in Georgia. Usually all we get is ice and that's no fun.. 

But this time we got snow, actual SNOW! 

Oh yeah and classes got cancelled too :) 

The funny thing is our spring break is this coming week and it's 30 degrees out and there's snow everywhere.

Now that's messed up!!

But it's okay becasue I'll be working over my spring break. No warm beach for me.. :(

To everyone going to the beach... I am extremely jealous of you.

...well back to our snow days...

This cutie is one of my good friends, Tiff, and we braved the cold together to head to our dinning hall! Yeah we'll do anything for food! 

Tiff is also from Miami. Small world!

Even being from Miami this girl LOVES the snow!

Now for me I like the snow but only for so long. I'm someone that needs to be on the beach with 80 degree weather.. Now that's the life!

One thing I have noticed is when it snows the outfit chocies get a little weird!

Like I said I'm someone who belongs on a beach so I don't have the proper clothes for this kind of weather!

Can you believe the jacket I'm wearing I bought in middle school for a school trip to Pennsylvania? 

Surprisingly it's from Areopostale! I honestly can't remember the last time I set foot in there but hey this jacket is coming in handy, plus it's warm!

So never underestimate a store!

Yes, on these snow days it's leggings for days!!

I'm sure every girl can agree with me!!

Now Drea definantly has the right shoes for this weather!

I don't know the brand of shoes she has on but they are similar to those duck boots that everyone wants. 

There is a pair from Kinnucans that I really like!

They are defiantly good for snow or just rain.

I hope everyone who got snow has had a blast playing in it and to everyone going to the beach for spring break, catch some rays for me!

Ladies in Red!

I'm sure everyone knows that tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I'm sure many of us have some exciting plans!

But what if you're single?? 

It's okay to be single, honestly sometimes it's better to be! 

If you're in a relationship, this might not be the post for you because yes, I'm going to bash a little on Valentine's Day. Let's be honest it's just a day made by Hallmark. 

We should show our love for others every day, not just one day out of the year! 

It shouldn't be a day just for couples, why not a day to show how important some people are to you! 

Who are some people most important to you?

Who said you have to have a boyfriend on Valentine's Day when you can have a best friend!!

Spend the day with people you enjoy being with. 

Friends that make you laugh!

Friends that make you smile!

Friends that make you happy!

So I wasn't going to post this outfit, but I had a ton of people ask about it! (now when I say a ton of people I mean 2 people..haha close enough). I had someone tell me I looked hipster preppy.. I'll take that! If you want to make this more preppy then do pearls instead of the scarf and flats instead of the boots!

• Top from Dress up, I got mine on sale but I found one similar here. You can pair this with any white top. It's always good to find yourself a good white top that you feel good in because you can pair it with almost anything!

Keeping It Classy

These two dapper looking twins are keeping things real classy this morning at church! 

You can never go wrong with a classic button down, a blazer, and khakis.

For those of you who may not know the difference between a sports coat, a blazer, and a suit jacket, Jos.A.Bank explains it perfectly. They even mention how you can wear each jacket and if I must say so myself these two did a fine job, although a good bow-tie wouldn't hurt! :)
